Specifications include, but are not limited to: construct an approximately 100-foot long, 16-foot high (8-10 feet exposed), steel soldier beam and precast reinforced concrete lagging retaining wall to re-support a failed section of List Street in the 26th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh. This work will consist of the following primary tasks: •Pre-construction and post-construction surveys of private properties, structures, retaining walls, privately owned steps, and public utilities. •Installation of temporary erosion and sedimentation control measures. •Development of site access for equipment and materials, including preparation of an adjacent work and material equipment storage area on an adjacent parcel of private property (1012 Buente Street). •Demolition, disposal and replacement of the entire length of a timber crib retaining wall along the boundary between the List Street right-of-way and 1012 Buente Street property (The retaining wall will be replaced with a modular Dura-Hold® precast concrete retaining wall). •Removal and disposal of existing abandoned utility lines that interfere with the construction. •Temporary removal, storage and reinstallation of a swimming pool, swimming pool equipment and chain link fence on the adjacent 1012 Buente Street property. Repair any damage to the swimming pool, swimming pool equipment or chain link fence caused during the removal, storage or reinstallation to the satisfaction of the property owner, at no additional cost to the City or property owner
