Scope of Work The selected consultant shall perform the following tasks: Visual Assessment ● Conduct a thorough on-site visual inspection of the facade, including all accessible areas where damage is apparent. ● Document observed conditions, including photographs and notes on material deterioration, structural issues, or other relevant factors. Review of Construction Documents ● Obtain and review available architectural, structural, and engineering documents from the original construction of the building. ● Assess any prior repair or maintenance records that may be relevant to the current damage. Evaluation of Destructive Testing Needs ● Determine if destructive testing is required to identify hidden issues contributing to the damage. ● Provide a recommendation on the type and extent of testing, along with justification for its necessity. Report Preparation ● Provide a comprehensive report detailing the cause of the facade damage. ● Include findings from the visual assessment, document review, and any destructive testing recommendations. ● Provide professional recommendations for remediation and mitigation to prevent future damage.
