Specifications include, but are not limited to: Community Care Behavioral Health (Community Care) and the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health (DHS) are seeking at least one qualified provider to develop and operate three innovative programs. These programs will provide Allegheny County residents living with substance use disorders (SUD) and/or co-occurring disorders, as well as their family and friends, with substance use education, resources, screenings, Level of Care Assessments (LOCA), recovery support and facilitate transition into treatment services. The three programs are 1) an Engagement Center to provide 24/7/365 substance use screenings, assessments, peer support, evaluations, and referrals; 2) a Safe Place to Stay to provide peer support activities along with food, shelter, and professional monitoring; and 3) Engagement and Coordination Teams to provide team delivered, community- and site-based peer recovery support and case management services.
