Specifications include, but are not limited to:. Equipment - Successful bidder to furnish, install, and maintain at no additional cost to the buyer, all dispensing equipment as specified in bid during the term of the purchase order, to reconstitute the coffee concentrate a mixing ratio and temperature to be determine by NSH Dietary Services. If the demand requires additional hot water storage capacity, a hot water heater shall be supplied to meet the dispensing temperature requirements at indicated locations. Additional dispensing equipment that may become necessary during the delivery period due to increases of consumption rates and/or changes in the food service system shall also be provided at no additional charge. Equipment shall remain the property of the vendor and shall be returned at the end of the purchase order period when all purchased product is used. Dispensing equipment shall have: - Metered portioned and/or continuous dispensing control-hot water dispensing available for alternate beverages; – Cleaning brushes, flex hose, and unit accessories as necessary; - Locking capability with keys provided; - UL listed and N.S.F. approved; - Low temperature lockout capability; - Continuous style of operation; - Push button dispensing style; - Electrical specifications: 100 amp, 110/220 volts; - Coffee machine must have capability to store and dispense from two packages of coffee and dispense hot water. NSH dispenser locations and quantities: Building #1, 1st and 2nd Floors (2 machines total) Building #9, A Side and C Side (2 machines total) Building #10, Ward A1 and Ward C1 (2 machines total) Building #51, Basement Kitchen Area (1 machine total ) Building #53, Cafeteria (1 machine total) 2. Installation - Installation of dispensing equipment shall be arranged with the NSH Dietary Services in advance of the first delivery period. NSH shall provide utility connections above the floor level and within six (6) feet of the site locations. Vendors must visit NSH site locations to familiarize themselves with the bid proposal. 3. Service – 24 hour, 7 day emergency service shall be provided on all dispensing equipment, as well as a monthly preventative maintenance program service check with reports documented with a service report submitted to the NSH Dietary Director. 4. Training – Vendor shall provide training on the operation and daily cleaning required for dispensing equipment to ensure uninterrupted coffee service period. 5. Cancellation Clause - Quantities listed are estimates only and may be increased or decreased in accordance with the actual requirements of the facility. With notification ten (10) days prior to delivery, the facility reserves the right to cancel any quantity on the order and agrees to pay the vendor for the products actually accepted by the department.
