The proposed renovations will be at the West Campus Chiller Plant located on Temple’s Main Campus in the Liacouras Center. The Project involves the removal of the four existing cooling towers and three existing chillers and their replacement with new cooling towers and chillers with the related mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection, and structural infrastructure to support the new equipment. This Project is subject to a Delegation Agreement between Temple, the Pennsylvania Department of General Services and the Governor’s Office of the Budget. This Project will be a multi-prime project delivered pursuant to a multi-prime contract delivery structure. The Prime Contractors will include General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing and Fire Protection, and each other contractor identified by Temple as being a Prime Contractor for the Project and which has been engaged directly by Temple to perform construction or supply machinery, materials, equipment or labor for construction of the Project. Electrical Construction The Scope of Work for the Electrical Construction Package shall include all necessary services, Work, labor, materials, supervision, tools, supplies, equipment, insurance, and applicable taxes necessary to complete Electrical Construction Package as shown in the Contract Documents for the Project.
