WYOMING COUNTY – SR 6(250) #121615 The purpose of the project is to improve deficiencies and provide a smoother riding surface, therefore, decrease the cost of ongoing roadway maintenance. The improvements to the roadway are to eliminate current potholes, depressions, rutting, and other pavement failures. Resurfacing on State Route 6 State between State Route 6 over South Branch Tunkhannock Creek and State Route 6 fork in Tunkhannock Township and Clinton Township, Wyoming County. The project is located in Wyoming County in various municipalities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The resurfacing includes asphalt wearing courses, scratch courses, milling, line painting, mechanized edge repair, shoulder backup, pavement markings, and guide rail improvements. All work will be completed within the existing roadway. The project is resurfacing of approximately 3.16 miles of existing roadway on the below state route. All maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) will be completed in accordance with the special provisions of the contract and will consist of short-term patterns.
