Specification Sheet for New Snow Plow Purchase
- Scope
This specification defines the minimum requirements for two new snowplows requested by Tobyhanna Roads and Grounds to supplement their snow removal equipment.
- Requirements: The snow plows shall consists of the following features and capabilities as a minimum
- The brand name or equal to - Metal Pless Maxxpro (PRO1248-22LE)
This plow needs to meet the necessary requirements to be mounted on a New Holland W190B Loader with the JRB coupler shown in attachment II.
- 10’ plow with 6’ hydraulic wings on both sides (total of 22’)
- Wings must be controlled by hydraulic cylinders and not actuators
- Must be ordered with a series 418 JRB Coupler that is required to mount the plow to an existing front-end loader.
- 4’ plow height
- Live Edge trip system with 2’ individual trip edges
- Built using heavy duty CHT400 abrasion resistant steel
- Carbide cutting edge on main moldboard.
- Self-leveling skid shoes on the wings
- Lateral floating of the blade
- Curb runners
- Baked powder paint.
- Approximate weight is 5200 lbs.
- The brand name or equal to - Metal Pless LiveBoxx (LBX1648)
- 16’ plow with bolt on fixed side wings
- Wings have self-leveling abrasion shoes.
- Heavy duty braces bolted to the moldboard and to the side wings
- Carbide cutting edge on main moldboard.
- 4’ plow height
- Live Edge trip system with 2’ individual trip edges.
- Built using heavy duty CHT400 abrasion resistant steel.
- Lateral floating of the blade.
- Baked powder paint.
- Approximate weight is 3545 lbs.
