Scheduled Maintenance and Testing • Conduct routine inspections of all traffic signal systems within the City. • Perform preventive maintenance and testing to ensure proper functionality. • Document all inspections, tests, and maintenance activities, and submit reports to the City as required. 2. Repairs and Recalibration • Respond promptly to repair requests, whether scheduled or in response to emergencies. • Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to restore proper operation. • Recalibrate traffic signal equipment to ensure compliance with City and PennDOT standards. 3. Replacement of Traffic Signals • Replace traffic signal units, components, or controllers as needed due to malfunction, damage, or end-of-life. • Ensure that all replacement components meet City standards and applicable regulations. 4. Emergency Response • Respond to emergency calls within the response time defined in the contract. • Provide immediate assessment, repair, or temporary measures to maintain traffic flow and safety until full repairs are completed. 5. Documentation and Reporting • Maintain records of all maintenance, repair, and replacement activities. • Submit reports to the City documenting work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance.
