The Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation ("PIDC"), on behalf of the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development ("PAID"), seeks an experienced transportation company to provide high-quality, reliable bus service under the Navy Yard Transit brand, with the option of achieving zero-emissions service over the course of the contract. PIDC seeks to retain a qualified, experienced transportation provider (“Contractor”) to provide a turn-key solution that delivers the following elements over the course of this contract: • Reliable, efficient, and user-friendly bus service for Navy Yard workers and residents; • Integrated fare collection system that supports several categories of users; • Reliable mobile app featuring real-time updates and bus location; • Responsive customer service, including direct handling of all rider inquiries; • Comprehensive tracking and reporting (e.g. fare collection, on-time performance, incidents); • Schedule and route optimization for efficient coverage and reduced wait times; and • Collaborate with PIDC to determine procurement options (diesel-fueled or zero-emission) to enhance the existing fleet.
