Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services shall include snow plowing, removal and salting of all sidewalks, driveways and parking lots at each school building, including all elementary schools, all middle schools, all high schools and administration buildings, as indicated on the attached plot plans. This includes City sidewalks adjacent to school buildings. Successful contractors shall furnish all equipment, labor, supervisions an materials to provide all Snow Plowing, Removal and Salting services. All contractors shall plow when snow has reached a depth of 2 inches, or at the discretion and direction of Paul Fillak, EVS Manager. Contractor will be notified of the need for salting prior to 5:00 AM on each school day or at the discretion and direction of Paul Fillak, EVS Manager. Salting shall only occur upon request. Snow removal shall occur when snow depth reaches 6 inches. Mr. Fillak may instruct contractors to not plow in certain circumstances and in his sole discretion. At no point shall snow reach a depth of 4 inches. Snow plowing and removal shall include drives, parking areas, entrance doors, stairs and ramps. Proposers are responsible to be familiar with each of these areas prior to submitting a proposal.
