Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Targeted Corridor Revitalization Management Program (TCMP) is intended to support community-based development organizations that are engaged in outcomes-based community economic development, business assistance and business association support activities. Typical contracts are $75,000. Funded organizations must dedicate a full-time staff person to TCMP activities. TCMP organizations must collaborate with City agencies and must participate in training sessions, workshops and roundtable meetings sponsored by the City. The range of activities under TCMP will fall in to the following categories: - Strengthening commercial corridors through planning and research examples include: surveys of building occupancy and business activities. - Making commercial corridors more welcoming and viable through revitalization and elimination of blight examples include: corridor beautification, including gateways and public art real estate development and rehabilitation and facade improvements. - Increasing availability of jobs and retail goods and services examples include: business development and retention and linkages between workforce development and corridor businesses. - Strengthening businesses on corridors through marketing, technical assistance and financing examples include: Business association development and management corridor marketing and promotions and partnerships with technical assistance providers and lending institutions
