The description and location of the project is as follows: For the improvement of a certain section of TOWNSHIP ROUTE in MIFFLIN COUNTY, BROWN TOWNSHIP, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, T-439, SECTION 000. The project being situated as follows: On T-439 (W. RAILROAD STREET) from Station 99+00.00 to Station 111+75.00. For the removal of the existing two span concrete encased steel I-Beam structure, and construction of a new single span prestressed spread concrete box beam structure approximately 500 feet upstream from the existing structure. Construction will include the new alignment of T-439, consisting of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Designs for the base, leveling, and wearing courses, guide rail, pavement markings, and miscellaneous construction for a total construction length of approximately 1075 feet (0.204 mile) as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package.
