These systems are all currently supported and maintained by Keystone Communications Services who has the unique expertise and knowledge required to ensure smooth integration with the existing systems, minimizing downtime and disruption to critical operations. The dispatch console is a critical component of police operations, and its failure could have serious consequences for public safety. Keystone Communications Services offers a seamless upgrade path that minimizes downtime during the transition to the new system. They can leverage their existing knowledge of the University’s infrastructure and configure the new console to work seamlessly with existing systems. Introducing a new vendor would increase the risk of prolonged downtime and operational disruptions while new systems are integrated. This could compromise public safety and response times during critical situations.
