Specifications include, but are not limited to:BCFL proposes to contract general snow removal services for each of seven sites. All labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work required for the maintenance of parking lots, sidewalks, stairs, ramps, emergency exits, and drive-up book drop areas shall be provided by the successful bidder. The scope of work for the Doylestown site will be on an as needed basis, as determined by the Facilities Supervisor. A. Remove snow falls of two inches or more B. Use ice melt when necessary to ensure an ice free surface C. Complete all work one hour prior to library opening when the precipitation occurs during closed hours D. Remove precipitation that falls during open hours and treat for ice when the temperature is 34 degree F or below and precipitation accumulates at two inches or more and/or freezes E. Follow all local municipality ordinances on snow removal.
