Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snow and ice shall be removed from the parking lot, sidewalks, and entrances at the notification of the County Assistance Office Manager. Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and supplies for snow and ice removal necessary to achieve the following requirements: Snow is to be plowed or moved when accumulation reaches or exceeds three (3) inches. Snow plowing or moving is to be performed Monday through Friday (except State Holidays) prior to 6:30 a.m. and/or during the day when necessitated by the accumulation of snow. Snow shall be removed from sidewalks, entrances, and all steps outside of building as well as public sidewalks located on Beeson Street Entrance/Exit and W. Church Street Entrance/Exit. Cindering or salting is to be performed as necessary to prevent the danger of injury or accident on sidewalks, parking lot, entrances, and all steps outside of building as well as public sidewalks located on Beeson Street Entrance/Exit and W. Church Street Entrance/Exit. Cindering or salting is to be performed Monday through Friday (except State Holidays) prior to 6:30 a.m. and/or during the day when necessitated by the accumulation of ice. When it becomes necessary to use de-icing chemicals, they shall be used judiciously to avoid damage to footwear, concrete, and landscape material. Snow removal or hauling is to be performed as necessary to prevent the danger or injury or accident and or maintain adequate parking space. Snow is to be removed when it reaches a minimal height of 12, and disposed of according to local ordinances. Snow removal or hauling is to be performed prior to 7:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m.
