Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29 seeks to have an area of approximately 60x60 paved with asphalt. The area has been excavated and prepped with 3 inches of 2a rolled and compacted as per local specification. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to install the following pavement structure: 1. Asphalt Binder Course o Install 3 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) binder/base course. o Apply tack coat between lifts as required. o Compact to specification. 2. Asphalt Surface Course o Install 1 inch of 9.5 mm HMA surface (wearing) course. o Ensure a smooth, uniform finish. o Seal all longitudinal and transverse joints. 3. Pavement Markings and Layout o Provide complete layout and pavement striping, including: o Standard parking stalls o One (1) ADA/handicap parking space with access aisle o Use DOT-approved pavement marking paint.
