Specifications include, but are not limited to: Security service is required for the period of September 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. It isRISE s desire to have one long-term, permanent security guard at its location due to the nature ofthe office environment. Security guards who are selected to be in position at RISE must have acompleted criminal background check and the results are to be shared with RISE prior to theirplacement at the office. While not required to carry firearms, it is required that the agency canprovide personnel trained specifically in handling potential verbal disruptions, diffusing potentialphysical altercations, managing crisis situations and protecting property and personnel.RISE will have the final approval on the guard selected to provide the above mentioned services
