Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Kutztown University of Pennsylvania has an existing multi-year contract with EGS Systems, LLC to provide sound and image services for the university’s student activities. The current executed contract anticipated that the average spend per year could support a multi-year (2-year) contract. Due to varying cost increases, the funding allocation is no longer sufficient to support the university needs through the term of the contract, which is the remainder of the school year. Also, given the supplier’s demonstrated familiarity with the university’s operational needs, the university has concluded that pivoting to a new supplier for the May 2026 commencement ceremony would introduce undue risk. It is for these reasons that it is not feasible to contract for these services at this time on a competitive basis.
