The project consists of replacement of the existing corrugated polyethylene pipe arch culverts carrying SR 4014 over Hiawatha Creek with approach roadway improvements. The proposed structure will be single span Precast Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert with two 11 foot lanes and 4 foot minimum shoulders. Other work includes roadway approach pavement reconstruction, guide rail replacement, ditch grading, E&S control measures, temporary traffic control, signing and pavement marking, structure removal, and other miscellaneous construction work. Construction will be completed while traffic is detoured as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 4014, SECTION 651, in WAYNE COUNTY, SCOTT TOWNSHIP from approximately STATION 6+50.00 at segment 0130 offset 3446 to approximately STATION 12+50.00 at segment 0140 offset 0288, with a total work area length of 500 feet (0.095 miles).
