This project is for the rehabilitation of an existing structure on STATE ROUTE 347, SECTION PRS, in OLYPHANT BOROUGH, LACKAWANNA COUNTY, in the COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA. The project is located along SR 347 at the structure over Lackawanna River, from segment 0100 offset 0857 (North of N. River Street) and continues to at segment 0100 offset 1286 , (South of Main Street) overall length 429LF. The proposed work involves rehabilitation of the existing two-span, adjacent box beam bridge which will be milled and paved, the existing sand bar will be removed, ADA improvements will be installed in the area and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package. Maintenance and Protection will require a detour for the Lackawanna Heritage Trail during construction as well as a commercial driveway; however, SR 347 will remain open.
