The project consists of replacement of the existing single span rolled steel I-beam bridge carrying SR 3008 over Ariel Creek with approach roadway improvements. The proposed structure will be single span prestressed concrete spread box beam bridge with two 12 foot lanes and 4 foot shoulders. Other work includes roadway approach pavement reconstruction and shoulder widening, guide rail replacement, E&S control measures, temporary traffic control, signing and pavement marking, structure removal, and other miscellaneous construction work. Construction will be completed while traffic is detoured as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 3008, SECTION 670, in WAYNE COUNTY SALEM TOWNSHIP from approximately 2.0 miles east of SR 590 at segment 0040 offset 1595 to approximately 1.3 miles west of SR 3013 at segment 0050 offset 0471.
