A. Project Management/Administration Project Management involves planning, scheduling, organizing, and controlling resources to achieve specific objectives within established schedule, budget, and quality standards. 1. Status Meetings: Attend monthly project status meetings, as necessary, including meeting preparation and minutes. Preparation for the meeting will include an agenda and visuals necessary to conduct the meeting. Meeting minutes will be prepared in a timely and accurate manner. Task specific meetings are discussed elsewhere in the scope of work. 2. Quality Control/Quality Assurance: Within 10 business days of NTP, prepare and submit a Project Specific Quality Control/Quality Assurance (PSQAQC) Plan for review and approval. Maintain records in accordance with the approved PSQAQC Plan. 3. Adherence to Schedule: Prepare a project design schedule using Critical Path Method (CPM). Provide updates regularly and develop recovery plans for items which fall behind schedule. 4. Project Reporting: As necessary, prepare and submit a project status report which identifies current project status relative to expenditures, pending milestones & deliverables, outstanding reviews and coordination items, and any other area of concern which may impact project schedule or cost. B. Survey 1. Field Survey: The Consultant will verify existing conditions in the field and collect information on the current infrastructure through a topographic survey. Establish permanent benchmarks, no more than one half mile apart. Survey plans will show all topographic features such as, but not limited to, pavement edges, inlets, headwalls, pipe, utilities, guide rail, fences, buildings, signs, sidewalks, trees and property corners which could affect the proposed design or estimate of quantities. 2. PA One Call: Perform a PA One Call in accordance with PA Act 287 of 1974, as amended. Incorporate obtained information into the project base mapping. Utility designation/location services for underground utilities are not anticipated. Initiate contact with all utilities in the project vicinity and solicit copies of existing facility records. 3. Property Map: The selected Consultant will be required to verify and deliver an ownership map for the Project Location. 4. Right-of-Way Plans: Prepare right-of-way plans in sufficient detail to serve as the legal record of location, the extent, and the character of any acquisition of right-of-way or easements necessary for this project.
