Currently, all campuses of Commonwealth University are using PhotoShelter and have extensive catalogues of files in the system. The Marketing & Communications team is trained on how to use the system as well as many of the University partners who have a need to access media. This allows uninterrupted use of Marketing & Communications media for recruitment and more. Retention of PhotoShelter would allow current libraries to be retained and transferred into a single portal of entry, making access to digital assets even easier for all parties. A large portion of the files in each of the campuses systems are tagged using metadata that makes assets easily searchable. PhotoShelter is providing a cost savings for the combining of three institutions within Commonwealth University. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
