Specifications include, but are not limited to: Across the country, State, local, and regional agencies are working to prepare their communities for all-hazard emergencies as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of their efforts to respond to and recover from these emergencies. Documenting and assessing these efforts against nationally recognized standards is critical for agencies to gain the trust of the community and sustain Federal and State funding. The Bucks County Health Department (BCHD) must answer these needs as well as qualify as a Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) health department. The BCHD embraces the State led PPHR endeavor however the Department is challenged with limited staffing and resources. A VENDOR was providing support to the BCHD necessary to complete the PPHR crosswalk application. VENDOR should be prepared to continue supporting the BCHD throughout the entire PPHR application process, including incorporating any revisions indicated by National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). VENDOR must be able to easily transition into this next phase of PPHR without any orientation period. During the PPHR application process, the BCHD conducted a training needs assessment with the BCHD emergency response team and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteers to identify training gaps. Based on the gaps identified, VENDOR will develop standardized training sessions, complete with speakers notes, to assist the BCHD in providing training to volunteers and staff.
