Specifications include, but are not limited to: Sodium Chloride, for ice and snow removal, BULK, to be delivered in Seller's truck to storage locations listed in Paragraph 2.1.1 below. In PHLContracts under the “Item,” tab seller shall indicate the transportation charge per ton as the Freight charge per ton. The sodium chloride delivered under this proposal shall be in accordance with Procurement Department Specification No. 5-T-40a:2017, which can be found in the Attachments tab of the bid in PHL Contracts, or latest revision, with the following additional requirements stated below. The efficiency of the compound shall be at least equivalent to that of two (2) lbs. per ton of salt. All salt shall be protected in transit by waterproof coverings to ensure that product is at 2% or less moisture content throughout the shipment process. Unprotected shipments are subject to refusal. Delivery points other than those outlined in this bid document may be added by the City during the term of the contract
