The General Construction Project is generally described as: • Construction of a new oversized Wet Well for the 1st Street Pump Station • Construction of a new Vertical Screen at the 1st Street Pump Station • Installation of 3 new Raw Sewage Pumps at the 1st Street Pump Station • Demolition of the existing 1st Street Pump Station and Wet Well • Construction of new forcemains from the 3rd Street Pump Station to the 1st Street Pump Station and from the 1st Street Pump Station to the Bergstresser WWTP (a total of 850 feet of 3-inch line and 900 feet of 8-inch line) • Construction of a new Waste Sludge and Decant Valve Vault • Construction of a new Ultraviolet Disinfection Facility and Pole Building • Demolition of the existing Chlorine Contact Tank • Construction of a new Effluent Meter Pit, Composite Sampler and associated systems • Demolition of the existing Sanitary Sewer Overflow and, as indicated in the Contract Documents. The Electrical Construction Project is generally described as: • Construction of Emergency Generator, Automatic Transfer Switch and associated switchgear complete in all regards at the 1st Street Pump Station • Connections of the 1st Street Pump Control Panel and Vertical Screen Control Panel • Connection of the 3rd Street Pump Control Panel, Decant Motor Operated Valves, Ultraviolet Disinfection System Control Panel and Effluent Meter/Effluent Composite Sampler Panel from the existing Motor Control Center at the Bergstresser WWTP
