Specifications include, but are not limited to: PHA has determined that there is a need for the abatement/removal of lead-based paint and lead coated components at the following PHA sites: Raymond Rosen; in order to achieve Lead Free status per HUD and City of Philadelphia regulations. The lead abatement contractor shall designate a project manager to coordinate all work and services provided under this RFP with PHA Environmental Department. The project manager shall act as a single source contact for coordination purposes with PHA. PHA will provide the lead abatement contractor with the most recent lead-based paint inspection report for the site. The contractor will be expected to reference the existing Site reports – provided by PHA – in order to locate components with lead-based paint throughout the Site. Contractor should be able to perform further testing with licensed XRF analyzer, if necessary – such as building components not mentioned or identified in the original report. The contractor is responsible to synthesize all information provided by PHA, and all information provided by its independent testing to determine what areas of the Site need lead abatement.
