Specifications include, but are not limited to: Sodium Chloride , for ice and snow removal, BULK, to be delivered in vendor's truck tostorage locations listed in Paragraph 2.1.1.The sodium chloride delivered under this proposal shall be in accordance withProcurement Department Specification No. 5-S-40:2003 or latest revision, with thefollowing additional requirements.The efficiency of the compound shall be at least equivalent to that of two (2) lbs. Per ton ofsalt.All Salt shall be protected in transit by waterproof coverings to ensure that product is at2% or less moisture content throughout the shipment process.
