Specifications include, but are not limited to: CONTRACT NO. EN-00198-03-05 – ROADWAY AND MISCELLANEOUS REPAIRS, between Milepost 201.58, the Blue Mountain Interchange, Exit 201, and Milepost 299.98, approximately 2 miles east of the Morgantown Interchange, Exit 298 on the Pennsylvania Turnpike System in Cumberland, York, Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster and Berks Counties, Pennsylvania. This contract provides for the Commission to issue Work Authorizations to the Contractor to perform roadway repairs as the need arises. The contract time period will extend from the date of Notice to Proceed to April 27, 2018. Work may include milling existing deteriorated wearing courses, repairing existing deteriorated binder courses, repairing shoulders and applying bituminous wearing course overlays to existing and repaired bituminous surfaces. Major work items may include the following items: Class 1 Excavation Bituminous Pavement Patching, Various Types Superpave Wearing and Binder Courses Milling of Bituminous or Cement Concrete Pavement Surfaces Bituminous Concrete Curb Sealing Existing Bituminous Concrete Curb Sonic Nap Alert Pattern (SNAP) Snowplowable Raised Pavement Markers (SRPM) Pavement Markings
