The City of Philadelphia’s (City), Managing Director’s Office (MDO) is charged with the oversight of the City’s operating departments. The Capital Program Office (CPO), which is a division of the MDO, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing Owner Representative (OR) services for the construction of a new 5-story addition for the Riverview Wellness Village (RWV) located at 7979 State Road. The complex was originally built in 1956 and served elderly indigent city residents as the former Riverview Home for the Aged. The site includes approximately 19 acres which takes advantage of the natural features of the site adjacent to the Delaware River. The new building will include wellness spaces for various types of services to assist residents affected by addiction, homelessness and mental health challenges. These spaces are to facilitate supportive services for their recovery and personal development.
