a. Providing modular-size perforated steel window screens, steel entry doors, and adjustable steel sheeting, including all accessories and hardware, which are fitted externally over vacant HACP property openings. b. Furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide temporary security protection services for vacant HACP property openings. c. Restoring any areas disturbed during this work that were not authorized in writing by HACP to their original condition at no cost to HACP. d. Surveying and field verifying all opening sizes, dimensions, quantity, and locations prior to fabrication and/or installation of new coverings for doors and windows, becoming fully aware of all existing or expected conditions and matters that might affect cost or performance. e. Providing professionally trained personnel to perform Temporary Security Protection Services at various HACP properties. f. Complying with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations, and the lawful orders of any public authority bearing on the performance of the services. g. Ensuring that the temporary security protection systems are available on a rental basis only and installed, serviced, and removed by trained technicians. h. Providing temporary security protection system steel doors and window guards/screens for short-term and/or long-term durations on daily, weekly, and/or monthly rental periods for vacant HACP property. i. Weatherization Requirement: For all installations occurring during the months of November through March, the Contractor shall provide appropriate weatherization measures to doors and windows (including sealing, insulation, and draft protection) to prevent cold air, water intrusion, or other seasonal elements from impacting the interior of the unit. Weatherization must be completed at the time of installation and maintained throughout the rental period. j. Response Time Requirement: The expected response time for both installation and removal of any security system is within 72 hours of the request submission by HACP.
