The Borough of Brentwood, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, is inviting firms to submit a proposal for a one-time contract to perform certain professional services. As part of Request for Proposals No. 2025-03, the Borough is seeking to conduct its Stairway Assessment & Design Project. The successful firm will conduct an engineering evaluation of the Borough-owned pedestrian walkways that contain concrete stairs, a graded asphalt path, or a combination of both. The firm will both review current site conditions and will also study usage figures and pedestrian route alternatives to determine the need for the Borough to retain such infrastructure. Subsequently, the firm will prepare cost estimates and a schedule for rehabilitating these fixtures.
