Specifications include, but are not limited to: IUP Health Services uses the Point & Click Solutions Open Communicator module and Template Editor for the Health Service's Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. The Open Communicator module allows web interaction with students and providers. It enables students the ability to upload pertinent medical and immunization information required by the Health Service. Template Editor allows changes to be made to pre-existing templates to better meet the University's needs. Point & Click software is compatible with the IUP Banner software system which allows cross referencing of student information and health records. This is necessary when charges for services, supplies, and medication are received. These charges are then billed to the student account through an upload interface from Point & Click software into the Banner system. To ensure continuity and consistency with the use of the IUP Health Service's Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, it is imperative that IUP maintain the software system by renewing the maintenance, support, and software from Point & Click Solutions. Because Point & Click Solutions owns this software program, they are the only vendor capable of providing maintenance and support for their software. IUP's current maintenance contract expires June 2022, this renewal is for services for July 2022 to June 2025. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
