The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the full treatment pest control services for all areas and buildings specified herein including all rooms, closets, hallways, stairwells, elevators, plus any other building portion not specifically described herein. Full treatment pest control services will include inspection and proper treatments for controlling rats, mice, all species of roaches, ants (except Pharaoh), spiders, nested bees and wasps, ground beetles, pill bugs, sow bugs, earwigs, silverfish and grain beetles. Rat and mouse infestations located in burrows adjacent to building are included. If any pests are discovered by County Personnel, the Contractor will respond within 24 hours after notification to correct the situation. When necessary to install rodent bait boxes, the Contractor will inform the Building and Grounds Department or Site Administrator of their locations and when they will be removed. Services will be performed at times agreeable to the Director of Building and Grounds or their designee or the Site Administrator of the Area Agency on Aging’s Senior Center. Contractor Responsibilities: The Contractor should be duly licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and is responsible for providing pesticide applicators that have been properly trained and meet all applicable Federal and State regulations regarding the classes of pesticides necessary to execute this contract. Chemicals used shall meet all applicable EPA, FDA and USDA safety regulations and standards. You must include a list of chemicals you intend to use with your bid. The County desires that the amount and toxicity of chemicals used shall be the minimum required for adequate pest control and that all applications minimize potential danger to people and damage to the premises/facility. Successful Contractor shall further provide each location/center with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for each of the chemicals used on the premises.
