The City of Williamsport is requesting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms to audit its financial statements for the years ending December 31, 2024, 2025 and 2026. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, the standards set forth for financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States; Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), the Administrative Code of the City of Williamsport, the Third-Class City Code, and the local Tax Enabling Act of December 31, 1965, P.L. 1257, No 511 (as amended).
