Specifications include, but are not limited to: HOSTING • The websites developed are expected to be hosted using a reliable and scalable hosting solution. • Proposals should outline a proposed hosting environment, including details on infastrucure, data backup and recovery procedures, and disaster mitigation plans. • Websites are currently hosted by Amazon, Google and Red Hat Enterprise Linux • The provider must keep the websites secure and continually monitor vulnerabilities and address issues stemming from either. • The provider must keep the backend coding of the website cross browser friendly with adherence to the latest HTML/CSS/JavaScript and other coding language standards and versions. MAINTENANCE - The provider will maintain Website architecture, hosting, graphics and interfaces based on the current and evolving needs of the Department as well as current and evolving technologies and industry best practices. Required maintenance services include but are not limited to the following: • Update scripts, APIs, and platforms (e.g. - WordPress) • Perform security checks at a regular interval (at least quarterly) • Data retrieval and processing (SafeCam registrations, additional tip details) • Content Management System cleanup – Audit content may involve testing user interface • Server reliability checks and regular maintenance/OS updates ▪ System test documentation • Regular backups to redundantly protect against system failures
