Specifications include, but are not limited to:This project's intent is to provide reliable backup power for the safe and efficient working environment for the residents and staff at the Philadelphia Nursing Home. The building must remain operational while renovations are constructed in a phased manner. Provide assessment/conceptual /programming, schematic design, design development, construction administration services related to the project. The scope of work will consist of the following: • Complete electrical design of the new emergency power system to provide emergency backup power for the entire PNH facility. • Document the selective demolition and remediation of hazardous materials as part of the removal of two existing boilers in the Boiler room. • Creation of the emergency generator room with adequate space to accommodate the generator(s) and Automatic Transfer Switch. • Construction of a demising wall to section off a new storage space for Health Department housekeeping materials. • Extension of sprinkler system into the new storage space. • Verification of HVAC system so as not to create obstruction in the ventilation and conditioned air to the two separate spaces. • Verification of fire alarm system requirements to the new spaces
