The proposed project is the rehabilitation of the SR 2007 Frankford Avenue Bridge over Frankford Creek in The City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County. The project includes the demolition and removal of the existing single span steel thru-girder bridge superstructure, and construction of a single span prestressed concrete PA Bulb-Tee superstructure. Existing utilities will be replaced on the bridge. The scope also includes rehabilitation and re-use of the existing masonry abutments, and placement of barrier along Hunting Park Avenue between the shoulder and sidewalk. Also included is full depth paving, curb and sidewalk replacement, placement of barrier, ADA curb ramps, pavement markings, and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 2007, SECTION FAR, in PHILADELPHIA COUNTY, CITY OF PHILADELPHIA from approximately the intersection of SR 2007 (Frankford Avenue) and Hunting Park Avenue at segment 0100 offset 1613 to approximately the intersection of SR 2007 (Frankford Avenue) and SR 1004(Torresdale Avenue) at segment 0100 offset 2237.
