Specifications include, but are not limited to: Identify a limited number of logical locations to provide access to the currently limited access roadway. Obtain aerial photography and property information of the targeted corridorbetween PA-73 and Farmington Road. Montgomery County can supply this GISinformation if requested.2. Organize and hold stakeholder meetings (PennDOT, County, Townships,property owners and business community) at appropriate study intervals. Meetwith county, PennDOT and/or others as appropriate during the course of thestudy for direction and review of information. Work with the Townships onzoning/land use issues.3. Working with the stakeholders, identify potential locations where access could beprovided to serve multiple property owners and potentially connect to other roadswhich parallel PA-100.4. In accordance with current PennDOT policy and Publication 10A, DesignManual Part 1A, Appendix Q - Points of Access, prepare a study assessing theneed for and traffic impacts of adding a new point of access to a limited accesshighway. Since this is a relatively rural area, the level of effort for thisevaluation should be modest though obviously to a degree that appropriatedecisions can be made. The goal of this study will be to provide the appropriatejustification for currently proposed or future proposed right-of-way breaksbetween PA-73 and Farmington Road.5. Conceptually layout on aerial photography, the potential driveways andconnecting roadways so as to meet PennDOT and/or Township design criteria.Obtain consensus from all stakeholders on this master plan and on all funding,design and right-of-way issues.6.Submit draft report to PennDOT Engineering District 6-0 for initial review.7. Revise as required by District Review8. Resubmit to District for verification and forwarding to Central Office forcomment and approval, as required.9. Prepare and submit for final approval for the currently proposed driveway/localroad access break including environmental clearance.10. Revise as required by Central Office review and resubmit
