The respondent shall develop a design for a new solar system. Not all locations identified need to be utilized. It is the responsibility of the respondent to assess the building structural integrity, roof condition and shading limitations. Mounting system design needs to meet applicable local building code requirements regarding snow, wind, and earthquake factors. Solar system installation should not void the roof warranty. Respondent will be responsible to coordinate with property owner’s roof warranty holder and obtain a letter indicating that warranty shall not be voided based on proposed installation. Conduit penetrations shall be minimized. All roof access points shall be securely locked at the end of each day. System layout shall meet local fire department, code and ordinance requirements for roof access. Respondent is responsible for securing all permits, including environmental, and approvals required of the project prior to construction start date.
