All torque wrench and torque gun recalibrations shall be documented by labelling installed on each tool and printed results of the recalibration are to be provided to the management team of the division that owns the tool as well as to PRT’s Bus Maintenance Support Quality Assurance Contract Specialist, Liz Hartswick (email: ehartswick@rideprt.org). Labelling installed on recalibrated tools shall meet ISO standards and include the following information: 2.3.1 Date of calibration. 2.3.2 Name of person performing the calibration. 2.3.3 Tolerance of calibration. 2.3.4 Name of company performing the recalibration. 2.3.5 Date that the next calibration is due. 2.4 The Service Provider shall, for any torque wrench or torque gun that does not meet calibration specifications due to needing repairs, prepare a written cost estimate including a breakdown of labor and parts needed for the repair. Authorization and a Purchase Order must be provided by PRT to the Supplier before any repairs are started. Repair estimates are to be provided to the management team of the division that owns the tools affected. Purchase Order numbers shall be included on the invoice for the repairs. Repair labor and replacement parts are considered outside the scope of this contract and will be billed separately from the Service Provider.
