Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful Respondent (“Concessionaire”) will be awarded an exclusive right, subject to certain limitations stated herein (the “Concession”) to operate and manage the Christmas Village at JFK Plaza and any other City-designated property(ies) (“Licensed Space”), to construct and maintain all temporary improvements and equipment necessary to operate the Christmas Village (the “Equipment”) and to exercise the rights and perform the duties described in this RFP and the concession agreement (collectively, the “Concession Agreement”). In consideration of the Concession granted to the Concessionaire, the Concessionaire shall pay to the City a concession fee (“Concession Fee”) as more fully explained below in Section 2. In addition to payment of the Concession Fee, Concessionaire shall also be responsible for a $25,000 Security Deposit, paid to the City of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Special Events Office.
