The City of Philadelphia’s Department of Streets (DOS) is pleased to announce a contract opportunity for On-Call Construction Management and Construction Inspection Services (CMCI4) General Engineering Services. The Department’s objectives for this project include the following: CM/CI involves the planning, scheduling, organizing, and controlling of resources to achieve specific objectives within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The selected Applicant would be responsible for advancing projects primarily for the GROUP 1 (STRUCTURES) and GROUP 2 (TRANSPORTATION), GROUP 3 (PED, BIKE, & TRAILS), and GROUP 4 (GENERAL) categories described in Project Overview, Section C of this RFP from bid award through to the completion and closeout of all construction activity. This will be accomplished through the management and coordination of all aspects of each project with the DOS and its design contractors, regulatory and resource agencies, utilities, private stakeholders, residents, the media, and the public. The Applicant chosen must be able to react quickly to short-term deadlines that may arise during the projects.
