Sealed bids for the Lease of Oil and Gas Rights for land(s) which comprise the Beaver County Airport property, managed by the Beaver County Airport Authority, owned by the County of Beaver will be received by the Beaver County Airport Authority at the Beaver County Airport Main Terminal Building located at Beaver County Airport, 15 Piper Street, Beaver Falls, PA 15010, until 3:00 p.m., local prevailing time on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. The individual tracts of land offered for lease consist of land located in Chippewa Township, Pennsylvania and each is further described on the Beaver County Tax Assessment records as follows: Parcel No. 57-025-0516.000, Total Acres 0.4000, Parcel No. 57-122-0188.000, Total Acres 2.7600, Parcel No. 57-122-0190.000, Total Acres 263.7300 and Parcel No. 57-132-0114.000, Total Acres 31.8400. The bid shall be in the form of a proposed lease agreement. Each bidder shall provide a proposed lease for a surface lease and a proposed lease for a non-surface operations lease. The Authority reserves the rights to negotiate all of the terms and conditions of the lease with the exception of the bid price. Bids may be submitted for each tract of land. Bids may be submitted that combine each tract of land under one lease. Each bid must be for the entire acreage of the tract. No bids for less than the entire acreage will be considered. The Beaver County Airport Authority and the County of Beaver does not warrant nor guarantee title to the lands herein advertised, and all bidders should satisfy themselves as to the Authority's title and to the accuracy of the acreage offered. The successful bidder must execute and return the lease to Beaver County Airport Authority within fifteen (15) days following the date of receipt, otherwise the award may be deemed to have been withdrawn, and the bid forfeited. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Beaver County Airport Terminal Building on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. The Beaver County Airport Authority Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, totally or in part or to waive any informalities in the biddings. Bids may be held by the Airport Authority for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the bid.
