5.1. Furniture Purchase, Delivery & Installation A furniture package is attached to this bid package. Expected installation will be June 16, 2025. 5.2. Confidentiality and Furniture Plan Public Safety facilities are confidential in nature and vendors wishing to submit bids for this solicitation must first download, sign and return the attached Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before the furniture plan can be released. Please email completed NDAs to joshua.lamonde@pittsburghpa.gov 5.3. Sample Finishes Finishes for furniture were selected by the Architect for the project as part of an overall design. Samples for finishes as specified in the furniture specifications should be submitted to the City within one week of award. In the event a finish may be discontinued or unavailable in time to meet the deadline, a replacement finish may be proposed for approval by the DPW Project Manager, and Architect. The replacement sample should be included in the submittal. Hard copies of the finishes will also be required. 5.4. Delivery Location Ship To the location detailed below. If blank, vendor shall use Ship To location detailed on Purchase Order(s). 5.5. Delivery & Installation At the appointed time, Contracted vendor will deliver, assemble, and install all furniture in the newly constructed station. The Station is one-story with a large bay, where contractors may unload and stage. 5.6. Storage Substantial completion on construction is July 28, 2025, although the project is early and may be completed as early as May 28, 2025. Based on availability and lead time, contractors should plan on installation starting June 16, 2025. Contracted vendor may be required to store furniture at no additional cost to the City for a reasonable amount of time. Contractor shall provide a number of weeks that storage of the furniture may be incurred free of cost to the City under Line Item 4, along with a weekly cost for storage past the complimentary period, as Line Item 5.
