Specifications include, but are not limited to:Recruit, supervise, and administer payroll for student staff. Staff and maintain audio-visual support services SMC. Ensure proper management of the fitness center that serves students, staff and special events. Maintain equipment inventories (AV, maintenance, fitness, etc.) Work with Dining and Conference Services to provide the facilities needed to attract and cater conferences and special events. Contractor will be responsible for control and distribution of mail to campus organizations located in the SMC. Contractor will be responsible for the distribution and control of keys for SMC organizational offices, the Greek House, and the Montour House. Perform minor building maintenance when appropriate. Administer billing for outside organization events. Provide room set-ups for special events. Work with the University Maintenance Department on work orders and improvement projects. Solve customer service issues. Budget, financial management and reporting. Event, labor, and other event associated contracts. Staff and manage in –house ticket office with online capabilities. Establish overall safety policies and ensure event management and security. Ability to work cooperatively with Office of Student Affairs. Participate in formulation of policy concerning the use of the facility. Ability to work in cooperation of the other building occupants such as the Bookstore and University Dining Services. Approve flyers for campus posting. Provide room set-ups for special events. Administer the campus lost and found. Ability to host various activities that include but are not limited to: Large and small banquets
