When so directed by the Engineer, inspect the Refuse Stationary Hydraulic Packer System. The Contractor shall provide all labor, and equipment necessary to perform the inspection and make adjustments, and identify any conditions requiring repair. Inspect all Refuse Hydraulic Packer System components, including at least: Hydraulic Unit: pumps, manual valve, control valve, safety valve, hoses, fittings, sight glass, pump control logic circuits, pressure gauge, float switch/level switch, filter strainer, leakage, electric motors and reservoir/tank. Hydraulic Cylinder (Steel): cylinder, piston, shaft, leakage and ports Hydraulic Ram (Steel): structural integrity, excessive wear and alignment Packer Steel Structure: structural integrity, excessive wear, alignment and welds. Each Refuse Stationary Hydraulic Packer System inspection shall be in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations for inspection, including at least: - A thorough visual inspection of all components. Note cracks, leaks, aging, scaling, accident, abuse, misapplication, and lack of maintenance. - Check of the Stationary Hydraulic Packer operation, identifying necessary repairs, and adjusting where appropriate. Refuse Stationary Hydraulic Packer System Repair- When so requested by the Engineer or by the Supervisor, visit the site and repair the defective Stationary Hydraulic Packer System. Schedule the visit during Normal Business Hours unless Emergency Service is requested. Provide all parts, labor, and equipment necessary for a complete and effective operation of the Stationary Hydraulic Packer System.
