Student Mental Health counseling services will be provided in-person by a total of three individuals: one at Hatboro-Horsham High School, one at Keith Valley Middle School, and one split to service the District’s four elementary schools. Provide psychoeducational and facilitation of the group process and individual support for students. Counselors will utilize trauma informed approaches and support attendance improvement plans, consultation for behavior intervention and provide professional case management Services include individual and group counseling, direct/staff and family consultation, and the provision of community resources opportunities. Referrals for direct services are through school counselors, administrators, and other school personnel. Ongoing student intervention support requires a SAP permission form from a parent/guardian to be obtained. Provide counseling supports services to students identified by the SAP team.
