Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Cheyney University (CU) requires a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the University’s Health and Wellness Center to help triage students in order to determine whether students need to be seen by the Physician, or if they can be treated by the LPN. Currently, CU contracts with Amergis for a separate Physician services Contract that expires on September 12, 2027. CU is seeking approval to continue LPN services through that same timeframe with the same supplier in order to provide consistent health services to students. Although CU holds an existing Contract with Amergis for Physician Services, having the option for LPN services this allows the university to reduce the number of Physician hours required and reduces costs.
