Provide weekly lawn and landscaping maintenance for five neighborhood regions of the Free Library of Philadelphia. Weekly Service Scope: • Perform preparation and cultivation of landscape areas. • Provide necessary shrub and ground cover replacements, with an allowance determined after site evaluation with the Library Landscaping Manager. • Conduct lawn mowing and landscaping in accordance with the requirements of each site. Service Reporting: • Submit a weekly work order via email to the Library Landscape Manager detailing completed tasks, issues, or changes for each site. • Ensure weekly reporting for each site. • Attach all weekly work orders to the monthly invoice submissions. Specific Tasks: • Remove all debris and leaves from the site during each visit. • As needed, replace and replant shrubs and perennial plants, subject to approval by the Library Landscaping Manager for any alternatives. • Eliminate climbing weeds and vines from shrubs, trees, plant enclosures, and exterior HVAC equipment. • Remove woody weed trees, including roots, from areas where they are not part of the native landscape. • Edge all lawn areas and curbside islands adjacent to pathways or pavements. • Monthly shrub trimming and pruning, including the removal of dead limbs and postflowering maintenance, ensuring that plants remain within their designated borders. • Perform significant trimming, pruning, and shaping of tree branches as required, including thorough cleaning underneath shrubs. • If necessary, conduct trash removal in maintained areas. • After maintenance, remove and properly dispose of all debris, trimmings, and grass cuttings from landscaped areas, curbsides, and around the facility.
